How to Become an Importer / Exporter on AUSExports

This user guide shows exactly how to register, choose Customer or Vendor, select a vendor plan, complete payment, and start listing products/services professionally.

Before you start (recommended)

Have these details ready so your setup is smooth and you look professional from day one:

Email + mobile number Business profile (about, location) Product/service details (photos, pricing) Shipping capability / service area
Tip: Vendors should use a clean Shop URL slug (e.g. yourbrand) because your store will appear like: https://ausexports.com.au/store/yourbrand

Choose your role

On the registration form you can select “I am a customer” or “I am a vendor”. Pick the option based on what you want to do on the platform.

Vendor setup (Exporter / Seller) — complete flow

Follow these steps to register as a vendor, choose a plan, complete payment, and access your dashboard.

Create your account

Open the Login/Register page and fill in the required registration fields.

  • Go to: Login / Register
  • Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email
  • Create your vendor profile: Shop Name, Shop URL, Phone Number

Select “I am a vendor”

On the same registration form, choose the vendor option so the system sets up your vendor access.

  • Choose: I am a vendor
  • Select a Subscription Pack (Starter / Pro / Global)

Choose a plan & proceed to payment

Compare plans on the Join Us page and click Buy Now to add your plan to cart.

Access your Vendor Dashboard

After successful registration/payment, log in and open your vendor dashboard to manage everything.

Best practice: Add your logo, banner, company description, and contact details before listing products.

Complete the necessary dashboard settings

Inside the vendor dashboard, complete these essentials (so buyers trust you and can purchase smoothly):

  • Store profile: logo, banner, business info, address
  • Shipping: regions, methods, delivery timelines (if applicable)
  • Payments: payout/withdrawal method and details
  • Policies: returns, shipping policy, minimum order, lead times

Add products or services to sell

Create listings with clear photos, accurate titles, specs, and export-ready descriptions.

  • Use high-quality images (front, back, packaging, labels)
  • Add SKU, MOQ (minimum order quantity), lead time, and certifications if relevant
  • Write clear shipping/handling notes to reduce buyer questions

Go live & start trading

Once your store is ready, keep it active and responsive to build credibility.

  • Respond quickly to enquiries and order updates
  • Keep stock/pricing updated

Register your customer account

Go to the Login/Register page and fill in the required details.

Select “I am a customer”

On the registration form, choose the customer option (this keeps your account focused on buying/enquiries).

  • Choose: I am a customer
  • Then log in using your credentials

Start browsing immediately

After login, you can browse products and exporters, and continue from the home page.

Importer tip: When contacting exporters, share your destination country, required certifications, MOQ, and target delivery timeline to get faster quotes.

Vendors select a subscription pack and can also compare plans on the Join Us page before checkout.
